Thank you for visiting the CFA Institute Online Sample Exam Testing Site. Please see the CFA Institute CFA Program page http://www.cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/ for further details. To learn more about what’s available to you on the testing site, please complete the following three steps. If you have visited the testing site before and have already obtained a login ID and PIN, go directly to step 3; however, you should first check the Message Center window (bottom of page) for important notices. STEP 1 - Temporarily disable your pop-up blocker (see box below) STEP 2 - Look up your login ID and PIN number Please Note: The ID and PIN needed to access a CFA Sample Exam are not the same as your CFA Candidate Number used to access the CFA Institute website. STEP 3 - Enter Testing Site HOW TO DISABLE YOUR POP-UP BLOCKER IMPORTANT: The testing site uses pop-up windows to make sure you read important information. You may need to temporarily disable software that prevents these windows from opening for the testing site to work properly. This can be done quickly and easily. Before entering the testing site, please verify if you have any type of "ad-blocker" or "pop-up window" software installed on your computer. Where to find your pop-up settings: Microsoft Internet Explorer. An icon on the IE tool bar or an information bar that appears just below the tool bar indicates where to go to change your pop-up settings. Click on the icon or the message and select "Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site" or "Temporarily Allow Pop-ups" or similar option from the configuration menu. Other programs. If you are not sure about the installation of ad-blocker/pop-up software and have attempted to enter the testing site and the window does not open, then ad-blocker or pop-up software may be installed on your computer. Other programs which could block pop-up windows are: Ad Blocker, BPS Ad Blocker, HistoryKills PopUp Killer, Panicware Pop-Up Stopper , Pop-Up Stopper, , Pop Stopper, Pop Up Zapper, ZoneAlarm Pro, Personal firewall software (Norton, McAfee, etc.), ISP provided ad blockers (AOL, MSN, etc.) If the above procedure does not resolve your problem, please contact CFA Support.
Once you have completed
your test attempt, you can re-initialize your ad-blocker or pop-up
software. |
